Committees

What is a Committee?

Committees assist the Board of Directors by addressing specific community issues and tasks while serving in an advisory role for the benefit of the community. As a general rule, they gather information, assess problems and recommend solutions to the Board of Directors. If you have a concern, committees are a great place to voice them, because the Board has chartered them to research and make recommendations within their area of responsibilities. Committee members work in tandem with Board members to shoulder some of the duties and help strengthen both the association and the community.

Current Committees:

Architectural Review Committee

Per our governing documents, a standing committee to review architectural applications is necessary. This committee reviews all incoming architectural requests to ensure they adhere to the Architectural Review Guidelines which helps maintain property values and a cohesive community appearance.

Community Garden Committee

This recently established committee has been set up to help oversee and maintain our Community Garden. While there are 64 garden plots that homeowners may rent, the unrented spaces will be utilized by the committee as a vegetable garden whose proceeds will go to a nearby food bank.

Social Committee

In an effort to better establish a sense of community throughout the neighborhood, this committee helps to plan and coordinate social events, seasonal activities and recreational programs.
